Straight From Scratch was created in 1999 at a family barbecue in a little town called Galesburg, Il. But it didn't start there. I was raised up in Oklahoma City where I learned about spices from my mom, who was a very good cook. She raised 8 boys and 1 girl. Being the 3rd oldest, I spent a lot of time in the kitchen learning about spices. So this family recipe will be the best barbecue sauce, the best base, and the dipping sauce you've ever tasted.
